I read it in middle school, and I don’t remember the title. All I remember is that there was a couple who had a Porsche Cayenne and would get off on watching things burn. Specifically, I remember them burning down a farmhouse with the people still inside. I’m pretty sure the book ended with a shootout in an abandoned beach house or something.

And there’s always the chance I’m mixing different memories together, too...

The Janet Evanovich “One for the Money” series involves a crime-fighter heroine, and I believe she had a beau who drove a Cayenne. My mom loved those books and I struggled to make it through just a few chapters, read more like bad fan-fic or pulp-romance than literary satisfaction.
